Safety and Operational Risk - Quality Assurance Officer
Safety and Operational Risk Department, Cathay Subsidiary Services provides services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, Hong Kong Airport Services Limited. and Vogue Laundry Service Limited.
Responsibilities
Ensure product quality is within the approved specification and in compliance with corporate standards by performing daily quality assurance activities.
Conduct hygiene audits and provide hygiene training.
Address quality and hygiene issues and conduct problem solving.
Implement, monitor and improve quality and hygiene management systems.
Maintain and improve HACCP / hygiene programmes.
Maintain documentation system including various quality control records.
Food sample preparation, conduct microbial test, lab result analysis and report preparation.
Conduct equipment calibration.
Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Higher Diploma or Degree holder (or equivalent) in Food Science / Food Technology or related discipline.
1 year working experience in food processing QA role is preferred (fresh graduates with related internship experience will be considered).
Experience in laboratory test particularly on microbiological testing is preferred.
Knowledge in hygiene control and QA documentation.
Self-motivated, hard-working and independent.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in PC operations, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
