Procurement - Procurement Excellence Manager
Procurement Department, Cathay Subsidiary Services provides services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, Hong Kong Airport Services Limited. and Vogue Laundry Service Limited.
Responsibilities
Develop and Implement e-procurement initiatives and systems.
Streamline and digitalize procurement processes to support the category teams with conducting procurement activities.
Source and implement a fit for purpose e-souring platform to support the department’s journey to digitising sourcing activities.
Manage and disseminate accurate spend data on a monthly basis to cross functional senior management.
Present business findings and analysis to GMs and subsidiary COOs as required.
Work closely with teams across the subsidiaries to ensure and promote compliance with the procurement policy.
Manage the implementation of new policies, procedures, and processes across the department and wider business.
Responsible for capturing insight and feedback from the department proactively seeking and make recommendations for improvement.
Support the General Manager with the preparation of briefing materials and presentations as required.
Requirements
University Graduate. Business or Procurement and related degree an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial experience in a relevant environment.
Strong background in Procurement. A relevant professional qualification an advantage (e.g. CIPS).
Relevant experience in supply market analysis, cost evaluation and contract management.
Knowledge of the category economics and operating model
Strong negotiation, influencing and commercial skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively develop relationships with cross-functional teams and at a multiple organisation levels.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Effective leadership and change management skills.
Numerate and with good computer skills.
Fluent in spoken English, Mandarin a plus.
