Customer and Commercial - Contract Manager, Commercial Excellence and Revenue Assurance
Cathay Subsidiary Services consists of several independent departments that provides professional services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, HAS by Cathay and Vogue Laundry Service Limited.
Responsibilities
Commercial Excellence
Designing, planning, and implementing commercial processes, projects, and initiatives to drive efficiency and profitability
Providing governance and control over commercial activities to ensure alignment with policies and procedures
Leading a team delivering centralized and embedded commercial support services
Revenue Assurance
Overseeing the pricing and analysis function to ensure accurate charging and invoicing
Work closely with the commercial team to provide pricing and contract support for new RFP submissions and contract renewal at CDI.
Managing the pricing process, including price calculation, development, and profitability analysis
Coach and upskill Commercial Teams
Including CDI, provide coaching and support to the commercial team on various pricing models and strategies for margin improvement.
Enhance Sales Processes
Instill innovative selling techniques and improve workflow for meal presentations to enhance overall sales effectiveness and optimise contribution margin.
Requirements
Degree holder in business administration or other related disciplines
Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in commercial, sales operations, or business excellence role, with a strong understanding of revenue assurance practices, including 3 years at managerial level.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams responsible for both commercial excellence and revenue assurance
Candidates with experience and network in aviation, cargo, ground handling, hotels, clubs, restaurants, catering and retail industry have a definite advantage
Strong business senses, commercial awareness, and planning and organization skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive process improvements and ensure accurate pricing and invoicing
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
Experience in pricing, profitability analysis, and RFP development
Strong communication and presentation skills
Work independently, self-motivated, proactive, energetic and customer-oriented
Outgoing and willingness to learn and take initiative
Able to work under tight timeline and pressure
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin would be an advantage
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
