Customer and Commercial - Business Development Manager (Catering / F&B)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy and action plans to our Non-aviation customers in order to achieve and deliver sustainable and profitable revenue growth.

  • Identify customers’ needs, confirm requirements, develop plans and follow through with various internal departments to provide excellent products and services to our customers.

  • Design the route to market plan and ensure all the sales actions are cascaded & executed by all team members to achieve the budget.

  • Responsible for the Coffee Chain, OEM, and festive product business development

  • Build and manage the coffee chain team and new store development project.

  • Oversee daily operations, P&L and manage the team to drive for a motivated different team and achieve business goal.

  • Develop and implement sales initiatives and maintain good relationship with OEM customers.

  • Represents the department in meetings and other internal communications.

  • Assist Head of Commercial in preparing yearly budget

  • Represents the department in internal meetings and other internal communications.

  • Other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Sales and Marketing or in Hotel, Catering & Tourism or relevant discipline; or, Non-degree holder with more than 8 years of tangible experience may also be considered.

  • At least 8 years Retail and /or Sales experience with at least 5 years in managerial position, preferably in the Retail, Food service / Catering industry.

  • Experience in contract review and commercial negotiation.

  • Good business senses, commercial awareness, planning skills.

  • Strong in negotiation, influencing, interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Work independently, self-motivated, proactive, energetic and customer-focus.

  • Outgoing and willingness to learn and take initiative.

  • Able to work under tight timeline and pressure.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin would be an advantage.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
